Not to dispute the photographer's assertion in the title that this lion cub is "getting ready to pounce," but his posture doesn't really indicate that. . . head lower than shoulders, crouched, low to ground is "ready to pounce" . . . this is kinda opposite of that and doesn't entirely convey an image of "play". But it's still a nice close up shot of the animal! 4.5
