waiting for a tooth fairyby ThaiComment: This shot is too symmetrical, it takes out the interest in the shot. Try taking it on an angle instead of straight on, or move the kernels to a third instead of right in the middle. The composition is just lacking interest. |

Flavour to tasteby VuurVliegieComment: I really like the reflection here. It is just a tad to dark for me, I would like to see how it compares to being a little lighter. Also try not to have the "horizon", where the popcorn is sitting on the table, be right in the middle, think rule of thirds. Also I don't know if this is on purpose but straightening out that line between the popcorn and the table would make this shot better too. |

The Circle of Life: Popcorn Styleby jprezantComment: Too much white here, it kind of feels like everything is blown out. Try the same thing on a black background. Also see what it looks like if the progression is moving diagonally across the frame, rather than right in the middle moving straight up. |

Movie Nightby jyoung7Comment: Where's the popcorn? You could have at least shown some popcorn sprinkled on the movies. I also think that you need to make everything in focus, try setting your f-stop higher. I do like the diagonal lines, this angle is nice. |

Corn on the Cob $3/dozen, Cooking Lessons - Pricelessby codfishComment: This is a refreshing shot, very unique. I think the composition is great. I wish you would have used a higher f-stop though, there is nothing really distracting about the background and almost everything is in focus, you might as well put it all in focus. |

The Results of Gun Fire That Sounded Like Popcornby THEOLDGEEZERComment: You could have at least tried to incorporate popcorn. If you have to use the title to convince me it meets the challenge, it probably doesn't.
Aside from that, the flag in the bottom is distracting, try taking this from another angle to get that out of your shot, cropping it out might hurt the picture. I really like the reflections on the memorial from the other people, and your subject holds interest. |

Never get enoughby kkzoliComment: This shot could be a lot better if it wasn't centered. The use of dof is great to make the background simple, you didn't cut off the arm on a joint, a lot of great things in this shot. Just work on the composition to make it more interesting. |

Aussie Popcornby darqwarriorComment: Nice shot of Australia, the top of the map is a little out of focus though. Try using a higher f-stop so everything is tack sharp. I like the different colors. |

Bloom D'Orvilleby colorcarnivalComment: I like the simplicity in this shot. I think I would have given it a higher rating if I hadn't already seen a really similar picture though. I really like the dof too. |

When Popcorn Dreamsby jonfrommkComment: I like the perspective here. What is the popcorn dreaming about? Being blown up, or flying away? Makes me think, nicely done. |
