I think geology rather that flora is dominating this image. Neither the lichen nor the flowers make much impact.

Similar to some recent work in other challenges so perhaps not that original. However the title is apt and the image works well with the dark background.

Very sharp where it needs to be, and the colours are nice and warm against the chilly grey. Against a staged backdrop it would probably look even more impressive.

Flower is beautiful, sharp and great colours. Seem to be some spots on the lens, bottom middle.

Clearly mother nature is winning. IMHO, the message doesn't seem strong enough in the image. Without the title, no-one would know what was going on.

Good DOF. Top middle (aloe in bgrnd) is a bit distracting as well as the intruding leaf right top. I think this would have benefited from a tighter crop and some adjustments to boost the colours and contrast.
