your title is very catchy and ads more sense to the image, but I guess most voters just skipped the title and gave it a harsh vote. But not considering the title, the image is little bit crowded, maybe concentrating on only one window and exhibit would have been better.

I'd disagree that the image was shaky, great sharp focus on the eye, you can almost reach out for that persons soul and understand its curiosity, really cool effect with the composer.

I was about to give this photo a straight 10, but then I realized that the same photo (different number of the image during shooting of course) was in the "portrait from behind". I think it's little bit unfair and not very creative to send a similar photo in several challenges. At least if it was a different posture or a different person, but it's not. 7!
