Great image, i wish i can shoot something like this sometime. Very striking, my only comment is that the area in best focus seems to be the feathers between the eyes instead of the eyes. I know DOF is shallow and getting the bird to look straight at you is probably really hard, so good job on this one

This is very interesting to me. I like the tones of the grays and how it almost looks like a painting. Makes me think of Mark Rothko in a (circular) way. This is probably not going to score very high at DPC, but i like it quite a bit. Good job on the choice of subject

nice execution, my only comment is that the image is a bit busy. My eye was first drawn to the brown part in teh center of the frame, then to the thing coming out to the bottom right from it, then to the reflection in that water. After a couple second I found the other droplet to the left and the tomato inside. A tighter crop would have helped
