Logby raishComment: Noisy, blown out, seems quite pixelated. I see red and blue hues to not sure if this strictly counts as duotone, certainly I have not seen any other tritone entries yet during my voting. Quite nicely composed though, your main subject, the log, is positioned roughly a third to the left |

Leaf in waterby hajekaComment: Free falling water, either requiring a fast shutter speed for freeze frame or a very long one for "ghost" effects. This is somewhere towards the freeze frame but could be sharper. Duotone hue is quite dominant, I'm tending to favour the more subtle ones |

Lower Ogden Res & Pendle Hillby TacTZillaComment: Very crisp and good tonal range. Burning out areas of the sky (car tv show style) to be darker than even the top of the hills would have made this very dramatic |

VROOOOMby grigrigirlComment: Seems quite "gritty" which I quite like. The boys face is an area of interest which unfortunately has lost a lot of detail as it is clipped at the top end. Good timing though in getting this shot, the still life people have the luxury of being able to easily repeat the image for the perfect capture but hopefully voters will understand this is not the case here and should award higher than normal marks accordingly |

TX State Capitol Buildingby WalesPComment: The blue duotone hue is quite dominant. Better tonal seperation between the sky (i.e. blow the sky out to near white) would have made the image less blue overall and more clearly define the structure. |

topless stripperby sunraygpComment: Great title.... Quite a simple image though in terms of difficulty so I worry this might limit the number of top marks people can give |

Tranquility.by docpjvComment: Interesting border. Seems to me though like it could have done with a slight ccw rotation to square up the very dominant horizontal lines. Nice effect on the sky coming in through the trees |

Remembering the time when.....by David NewlandComment: The background is very bright and although it is nicely blurred, seems quite busy and steals the eyes attention away from the main subject. Nice and sharp though |

J o k e rby JuliadavisComment: This seems very familar. Have I seen something like this before in another challenge.... maybe not. Nice focus on the eyes, nice cold duotone hue |
