Shakeby SimmsComment: Really good capture of the water, not that easily repeatable, some entries in this challenge I imagine people were fiddling with dripping taps all day but you may have only had a few seconds to get this shot done so well done. Not sure about the border, perhaps picking out an average colour of the water spray (yellowey white) would have made the border more part of the image. Good composition though |

Go Bubba Go by kandykarmlComment: Great background blur whilst retaining sharpness on the dog. A complete mid air capture would have been more impressive but this has great colours and is well composed. The background is quite red though and so you lose contrast with the main subject, would be better if the background was either more complementary or neutral |

1975 Vintage Catalogby staceylynnComment: Doesn't meet the challenge for me I'm afraid. I can see where you were going with this "stopped time" type thing but its not right here. |

Get off my perchby dmaddenComment: Amazing sharpness, especially on the brown feathers. Nice neutral background keeps things simple so this should do well. Theres something not quite right with the composition though, both birds are looking/moving into the right hand side so there should be more empty space there, but this would bring the perch into the centre which breaks the rule of thirds, unless of course you made lots of empty space on the right but then it might look a bit silly. |

Giant seagull spotted. Swimmer missing.by boyd2000Comment: I worry this is too complex to score highly, a more neutral background to keep this simpler I suspect would have done better. To improve composition, I would have gone for a more widescreen aspect ratio and opened up more space on the right hand side to keep the bird one third over to the left. |

ooch! ouch!by MichaelCComment: Good focus on the head, to do that and get the freezed motion is tricky so well done. You've gone for a mono conversion which I agree with, the levels/contrast could be pushed a bit harder though to really give this some impact. Nice water drops too |

Carpool is 3 or More ...by GeneralEComment: I know the cars are moving, but they might as well be stuck in a traffic jam. Setup wise, this is easily repeatable, at least compared to the ones that require spot on timing or make a mess (water, milk splashes all over the kitchen floor) and need to be "reset" between each shot so I'm afraid when compared to those, I can't score this as high. |

Its not easy to 'freeze' a baby.by kolasiComment: Bit of a blue colour cast that could easily be corrected. Not sure this is quite in the spirit of the challenge despite your title. Better than another water drop though |

The Parrot Comesby MaryOComment: Looks great against the black background. Could have pushed the level on the bird though to make it really standard as the grey wings are a bit dull. Great composition but whats with the brown border? would have been better sampling from the red tail features of the parrot |

Water Danceby killjoy181Comment: Fairly noisy and quite soft. I'm guessing you were zoomed in and may have lost apature when doing so and so had to compromise by using a higher ISO. Well composed though, would have been better with just the single bird as the other two don't conform to the challange and are facing the wrong way |
