School Yard Fun

Hmmmm... I didn't think of this at the time but this is more of a UK only thing. These are conkers and come from the horse chestnut tree, when they are ready they open up and the large brown seed (conker) inside is collected by school kids to use in a school yard game. It was only after I got a couple of the comments that I realised that few people would actually know what they were!

Never mind, bring on the next challenge.

Nice use of duotone, not sure about the crop... i think the sharp cut off below the white strip looks a bit off, but then doing it higher may be the wrong way to go... oh i dunno, nice shot, good luck.

Is this the name of the place where you shot? Nice subject, good focus and colours. I like that the is the single 'marble' as the main subject - nicely framed. Slightly grainy but still a very nice picture. Good luck
