I really like your control of the highlights and contrast in the details; very defined and defect free. The shadow and composition is slightly weird to me. While the entire reflection of the object is cool, I feel it detracts a bit from the product. With advanced editing, it would be better IMO to have faster fade to black on the reflection (to tone it down a bit) and focus emphasis on the product. (I was imagining seeing this picture in a photo magazine as an add and thinking about it that way.) There are really strange artifacts in the reflection, what is that all about?

Well photographed, better than most toy pictures commonly found in a catalog.

Excellent perspective. You've shown me the front and back of this unique and challenging object to photograph. The uniqueness of the watch and composition causes me to stop and look closer. Highlights seem to be controlled to the top and bottom of the object and do not obstruct the detail.

I really get a great sense of the product, the front/top design and textures, while at the same time the details of the pedal clips and atypical traction design. Lighting is good and even, lighting the entire product, possibly slightly over exposed in the tip of the bottom shoe, but that area might very well be all white with little detail anyhow.

Great control of the highlights, while still lighting the object to clearly show the details.

I like this image. There is something about it that has a dream like feel to it. Perhaps its the carefree expressions. Its amazing how other-worldly earth can be.

Thanks for the comments. Ashley has sparkling eyes and smile. As for the adjustments, minimal indeed; crop only. White balance and exposure were right on out of the camera. I really wasn't expecting the white balance to be perfect. I shoot a gray card and usually end up applying a white balance adjustment to all the images for that session, but with the D700 set to Direct Sunlight and using Broncolor Minicom 80s the color turned out great.

This shot is amazing! The photograph is technically perfect. The head on angle and timing of the shot are right on. Equally amazing are the pilots of the aircraft; perfectly spaced, on the same geometric planes as well as precise roll angles. Connect the aircraft and there are 3 perfect parallel lines. Amazing capture! I also like this better than your entry. They're both spectacular.
