Dream of Freedomby jsundinComment: As I thought, I got another "sweep" on this shot. (That is one of each score in the voting) I figured just as many people would love it as hated it.
I liked the colors in the flag against the sky background. I am glad that some of you enjoyed it for the photograph.

Liberty and Justice for Allby dtremainComment: I think the light is just a bit harsh coming through the flag. I like the shot, with the cloud in the back, but the light is off a bit. The flag pole needs to be straightened just a tad as well.
I'm sure you will get nailed by others for being so "American" on a national forum. I hope not. Thanks for posting. |

Field of Dreamsby jsundinComment: I agree that "shadow" detracts from the picture. After looking at it for a bit, I discovered it is actually a little ravine where the field is cut at a strange angle. I woul dgo back and reshoot it, but I think the flowers are past blooming again and the sky is not as dramatic.

Light House Sunsetby banmornComment: Putting the lighthouse either on the left 1/3 or right 1/3 would make it better, I feel. Having it right in the center makes it feel uncomfortable. I love the sky. Cropping from the left, with the little sticks in the lower left corner would be good also. |
