I think the light is just a bit harsh coming through the flag. I like the shot, with the cloud in the back, but the light is off a bit. The flag pole needs to be straightened just a tad as well.

I'm sure you will get nailed by others for being so "American" on a national forum. I hope not. Thanks for posting.

I agree that "shadow" detracts from the picture. After looking at it for a bit, I discovered it is actually a little ravine where the field is cut at a strange angle. I woul dgo back and reshoot it, but I think the flowers are past blooming again and the sky is not as dramatic.

Maybe it is my screen, but the mountains look fuzzy.

This shot would be much more powerful if done with later afternoon sun, if possible.

Putting the lighthouse either on the left 1/3 or right 1/3 would make it better, I feel. Having it right in the center makes it feel uncomfortable. I love the sky. Cropping from the left, with the little sticks in the lower left corner would be good also.

I was going for a dark look intentionaly, for emotion. The light was low to begin with and I thought the single spot on the guitarist brought out the feeling in the moment. (Or I was just having a lot of fun, standing in the front row!)

I had been doing a lot with ISO1600 and 3200 before this shot, but went down to 800 to lower the noise a touch.

IT needs a little straightening and a bit of cropping. Get rid of the view of the speaker stack on the left and about half of the sidewalk in front of him. At least, that is what I think...

I think this would be a lot more impactful if done in early morning or evening lighting.

Now, I see the texture you are talking about. I was way off in my original thought.
