blue nightby sigrun_thComment: Wonderful. Just - wonderful. I'm drawn to wade, yet can tell by looking how cold that water would be.
My only gripe is that the horizon looks OOF in the distance perhaps this is an artifact of the size of the pic, though. I'd love to see it bigger. |

Clear Blue Joyby debitiptonComment: Straight portraits of kids don't normally turn my crank, but this is exceptional. The color consistency (shirt/door), composition, the slight vignette, the PERFECT contrast in the concrete: all conspire to raise this well above the usual. |

On the market placeby silverscreenComment: Great contrast; midtones are perhaps a bit dark? Your whites are white, but the whole image appears a tetch dark to me. I love the little bit of motion blur in the sellers hands.
I don't think this is a DPC friendly image, but I dig it a lot. |

With this attitude you'll do well - it's a nice image, just doesn't meet the challenge. In an appropriate challenge I think it would have done well. |
