Lines for a Songby FleximusComment: I honestly think you would have scored higher if you had placed your focus on the guitar strings and not the end of the mic. I see the line (obviously) but as a subject focus it's not that interesting. On the plus side your ability to capture a correct DOF is great, and that's hard to do with a digital camera. |

Standing in Lineby PollyBeanComment: Cute picture, meets the challenge no problem. For a bit more punch I think I would have picked a different surface to line the cookies up on. I would have gone with one colour, bright, but not in the brown family, so that the cookies really stood out. It's a hard "subject" to make interesting enough that the viewer doesn't just pass it by. |

Ocean Linesby max90034Comment: This is a hard image to comment on because really there is not a whole lot you can change. Your background is perfect, and the lighting is very well done. Did you try an angle shot by chance? Might have been neat to see the lines on the shell as well as actual ridges (more lines) |

Verticle Linesby woodenshoe50Comment: Looking at this, I think i would have been tempted to crop the pavement and make the shot more abstract in nature and less of a front of a building picture. Maybe even shooting from an angle with a tighter crop. It does obviously meets the challenge and it's very sharp and detailed. |

Blueby Rando D300Comment: An unusual bird shot which I like for the purposes of the challenge. It would have been nice to see slighly more of the top of the wing (which has better detail) rather then the bottom. I'm guessing thought this was a one in a million shot, so you probably didn't have a chance to adjust your location. |

Disjointedby LucidLotusComment: Very nice. I like that you opted not to shoot dead even with the columns, it adds an interesting perspective. If I were being picky and trying to say something constructive, the only thing I would have tried would be to add a bit more contrast for drama. Honestly though, it may or may not improve the image, it would have been something to play with for future consideration. |

Perfect Lineby peeceeComment: Your DOF is great in this picture. The overall feel is very urban and clean, but this is not an image I think I would keep coming back to. Close, but there's just something missing to retain my attention. |

Racing Linesby JamesterComment: This almost looks like a painting, it's so soft. A great effect for this particular image I might add. It's a shame your sky doesn't have a bit more impact, as the brightness of the grass really makes this image bottom heavy and leads the eye away from the riders. |

Trafficby patman49Comment: Great picture, love the overall lighting, you took this at the perfect time of day. I personaly would have done a tighter crop on both sides (to keep the bridge somewhat centered) as the lights in the upper left hand corner distract the eye from the traffic lights and really don't add anything to the image. |
