overlay11by vawendyComment: Can't believe the difference the texture created (original vs edited). Adds just the right mood to these "oiseaux de malheur" (in French, literally "birds of doom", an expression used to describe how scavengers gather where death lurks). |

Witness to Desireby tangueraComment: This is so hypnotizing and haunting... I think the elements blend together just right. I'm especially fond of the bather. and the colors! Makes me feel like my work is very ordinary... |

winterby philupComment: Brrrr! Looks sooo cold! When I saw the image open up, I thought to myself: Oh no! Not winter yet! Then I saw the date of capture : ) What a relief, still a few weeks before we go at it again... That said, the texture increases the sense of cold. I can almost hear the snow crunching under the feet of the walker. |

Simonby odriewComment: I like that the dark texture contrasts so much with the carelessness of the image. Makes me imagine all kinds of different stories/scenarios for this... Very intriguing and definitely effective mix. |

overlay12by vawendyComment: LOL I have the same problem! But when you look at images such as yours, where the texture really adds to the image, it makes me wonder how anyone would think this is is any less "fine art photography" than more traditional photography... That said, I really love what the texture is doing to the OOF areas of your image. |

6-4-nov 2010 layered. katee & the adaptable migrantby rozComment: Excellent roz as always! You master the layers like no one else. I especially appreciate that you were able to retain the "crispness" of the image underneath. How you do it, I have no idea but it rocks! And I am really happy to see you and katee are part of this side challenge : ) |
