Afloatby dorseteyeComment: I'm sure you were cropping distractions off the top - can still see reflections. Puts the boat too close to the top though. I really like the textures in this photo; the gravel at the bottom really complements the ripples at the top. Wish you could have framed it better... |

To Neverland.....by herfotomanComment: I'm sure this was difficult to pull off :) Love the idea, but the lighting just doesn't cut it, especially for advanced editing. |

She'll never sail againby bob_bobskiComment: Don't like the border color - doesn't pull with the rest of the photo. I'd have gone with black, or matched the dark shadows towards the bottom. Other than that, I really like this. |

Getting Air!by CuttoothComment: Originally posted by JokersSoul: The color of the water is gorgeous. The action is good. The surfer needs to be more in focus in my opinion. |
Agreed on the water, but I actually like him just a little blurry - pulls the attention to the right side of the wave, which is just beautiful. |

Closeupby sarampoComment: Great angle and lines - one of the few I stopped to take a closer look at. |

Marsh Land, Board Walk, Moon Gateby PenelopeKComment: I'm amazed at all the texture in this photo - one of the most interesting and engaging I've seen on DPC.
...I'm also amazed that people will give images like this a '2'. I always assumed that members of a photography site would be a bit less soul-less. |

soft touchby andrijaComment: I really liked this actually - to me it looks like a couple, watching a sunset from a hilltop bench.
The paper towel is a little distracting. Also, if you had moved the backlight off-center perhaps it wouldn't 'bleed' around the point where they touch, which makes the upright egg look misshapen right at the focus of the image. I'd love to see this shot again. |
