Bubbles in pink and redby jparisiComment: Nice. Post-challenge, it'd be really good if you could post something on how you set this up, the lighting, etc. |

Lawn bubblesby gattamartaComment: I'd been walking past some of these over the last week, thinking "I could do this for the bubbles challenge" - but never did. Nice shot tho. |

Dormantby rinacComment: Rangitoto? Even if not, still a fantastic shot. |

Bench with a viewby kevip6Comment: Lovely. Simple, with great colours. The light of the sunset isn't overpowering as it is in many of the other sunset shots. Somehow the "laid back" feel of the bench works with the slightly off-level field. |

The Storm (BASIC editing)by talikfComment: I do like the shot, but I don't see why you've put (BASIC editing) in the title. So what if you didn't use the full range of editing capabilities available. As has been pointed out in the forums, just because it's available doesn't mean you have to use it, and good pictures don't necessarily need all available techniques used on them.
Are you expecting extra credit because because you edited the picture less? Do you feel that the image won't measure up to others that do use more post-processing?
Just my thoughts. I'd suggest next time you just edit the image 'til you're happy with it and submit :) |

Colors of the Capitolby MegaweaponComment: There's a lot of haloing around the buildings, and the water looks artificially blue, as if someone's poured a whole load of copper sulphate into it. |

Blueby jdmacswainComment: Normally, this'd be quite an uninteresting shot (for me at least) but the orange in the foreground kept me staring at it for quite a while. Is this a reflected cloud? Algae? Sand? Whatever it is, it really makes the shot stand out. Well done. |
