Final Approachby SimmsComment: Looks like you should have gone for the head on flying one, it was easily as good as the ribbon winners. I thought this was better though |

Blue Eyes......by TonyUKComment: I'm really torn on this one because the model, expression, makeup, lighting, hair, and focus are all fantastic. But, I really don't like the crop and composition, I'm not at all adversed to tight crops and central compositions but I don't think it works here. The crop is either too tight or not tight enough, it's like the frame is fitting round the head rather then positioned and then the central composition adds to the discomfort of that. Still love it though, great lighting |

Just Do Itby kevip6Comment: Thanks for all the comments and votes. The flare and dust spots in this shot were intentional and so that's why they weren't cloned out. I wanted a dramatic gym type feel to it and I think (personally) they add to the shot, but I appreciate the comments.
Also I'm surprised at the number of Adidas comments, it's not a Nike ad I simply used their slogan for the title. But again thanks all the same :0)
I'm pleased this made it close to my average, so thanks again |

Melanieby JessiComment: Really nice, I've just come to bump this to a 7. It would be higher if it weren't for the strange noise on the out of focus areas and some strange marks on the white areas by the cheek on the left. The crop, focus, exposure, toning and expression are all really good. |

far awayby smardazComment: I like the crop and composition on this and the lighting is from the right direction and is lovely and soft. Yet this feels a little flat? The eye's are lacking in much of a catchlight and so don't sparkle like they could. So close to a fantastic portrait but it just missing a little spark to bring it to life IMO |

Joyby smartypantsComment: Really like the crop on this one, also has a great feel to it with the expression and B&W conversion. The hair in front of the left eye (her right) disturbs the balance for me a little as it's a very happy shot and so would be nice to see both eyes fully. Great DOF as well. |
