Blueby WalesPComment: Nice shot and nice finish Ron. The blue and yellow of course work very well together and the drawn line has a beauth all of its own. I am intrigued as to how you suspended the pencil. I guess the slight shadow is the sort of thing that may have cost this an even higher finish. I am not sure whether this could have been cloned out or not (after reading recent threads on what is allowable my guess would be yes)
Very sharp and crisp
Good job buddy |

No Left Turnby MelethiaComment: DNMC!!!!!!
That is not a point it is a cone!!
Great photo Deb, I really liked it when I saw it in voting although I did worry whether other people would get it as sometimes images can see to slip past voters. My faith is restored
Funny and well executed. |

Butterfly Beautyby SandyPComment: Sandy...based on our earlier corresspondance I can see that you are REALLY struggling coming to grips with your new macro lens!!!!
Tremendous image and I love the earthtones. The white border works very well to bring these out even further
As ever - You ROCK |

Point Fourby colorcarnivalComment: This was great macro, but - to my shame - I think I failed to get it. You are 100% right when you mention that no one said that the point of colour had to be light. I looked at this shot and thought 'beautiful but the colour - ie in my eyes that flower rather than the stamen - was not a point of colour.
I need to open my mind as well as my eyes a little.
I scored this a 5 but having read your description I can see this was a greivous underscore
Sorry Michelle, definitely a case of the voter being wrong and not the photo |

So who is the father Rose?by glenncComment: Brilliant title that made me laugh out loud....More than that a rather lovely shot that meets the challenge well - I might have been tempted to lose the foreground rose but nonetheless a strong 8 from me |

Eye in the Nightby Yo_SpiffComment: Wow hurts my eyes to even look at this, yet look at it I must as there is something hypnotic about the shot. Great interpretation< I guess it may not do too well in the contest but I think it is kinda cool - 9 |

Beach Brollyby aimeethetooComment: Lovely capture, I may have preferred this without the cool box etc to simplify the image a little but still a wonderful take on the challenge (oh and if anyone complains that it is meant to be a single colour as the point then damn their literalist eyes!) 9 |
