take-off in 2 seconds !!by rozComment: Roz
I thought this really met the challenge well super colours as well. There seems to be something a tad 'off' about the size of the insect almost as if you want it to be a either a little bit bigger so you can see more details (though that may be because you have spoilt us before by your stunning macros). Having said that still undoubtedly a shot which I would have loved to take and a great image |

The Lemon Songby AliciaComment: Oh boooo. there was lots of lemon songs portrayed and this was my second favourite I cant believe it scored so low and finished 130/139
I love the fact that the lemon has been zested and squeezed (both rock and roll and quite original in terms of the way lemons are normally depicted on DPC)
I thought this had a nice textured feel to it (especially the pith on the inside of the lemon |

Tea For Oneby WalesPComment: Styx one week, Zep the next!!!
I like the composition of the shot (hey upturned porcelain is very rock and roll) but it perhaps it is a little dark (imo) in places which mean that you lose the definition of some of the objects
I really liked the splash of colour of the disenboweled flower - nice touch |

Peeking Between the Railsby MaryOComment: really nice shot that meets the challenge well. Absolutely sublime sharpness on the fence and the goats face and great colours that are set off even more by the bokeh sky. 9 from me |

I See Youby 2462muComment: I actually came back to this one as the first time I looked at it I thought 'hmmm nice animal shot but not sure it really hits the challenge'. Then looking at it further I realised that whilst for a human this would be a profile looking straight ahead with the reptile's pivot eyes it is actually 'peeking' at the camera.
Very clever idea and nicely delivered |

Peeking Outby libertyComment: Very nice shot with a slightly olden day feeling about it (for some reason the wmoan in the window makes me think of a 1920's debutante!!??)
Love the spots colour on the white canvas (they are vivid without being overpowering)
Possibly could have done with a touch of straightening so that the boards lay parallel, but that is just a minor issue |

Peek-a-mooby TammerComment: A bizarre pun which for some reason makes me giggle
Nice sharpness and colours although (from a personal perspective)there are a couple of places on the cut out keyhole which are quite distracting (right at the very top the hole line is a little jagged and it looks like there is a little fold in the card on the right innermost point near the cows food)
Just read that comment back and it sounds very pedantic, but it is very small things like that that can on occasion stop a good picture from being a great one.
Emphasis should still be that this is a good picture!! |

I See You ... From Above.by rjksteschComment: I love this birds eye view type of image and I think you have pulled it off well. I am not too sure how well it will do with some DPC literalists in terms of scores but from a personal perpspectibe I totally get the idea that you are 'peeking' over a railing or bannister at someone. Nice complementary colours and I like the stones on the other side of the window |

Coming out of my shellby JakerComment: Really nice idea and I like the sharpness of the claws and the eyes of the hermit crab. From a personal perspective I do find the reflection to be a little distracting. Nice colours |

Peek-A-Boo... I SEE ... umm... .err.. me. by LydiaComment: I really like the way that you have framed this shot. The complimentarity of the colours of the mirror/fence(/) and your eye works very nicely.
real good 3d feeling about the shot |
