Bice shot and I love the sharpness and the integrity of the water drops in the illuminated central part of the leaves

Great greens and a wonderful velvety textured feel to the leaf itself. I was just wondering (if it had been possible) what this might have looked like with a square crop just tight around the water drops at the centre (although given your score I guess it did OK as it was!!!)

Great abstract and I love the dof you have used which has given gentle forground bokeh and really strong background bokeh with, sandwiched in between the very strong tones and sharpness of the leaf

Sigh, I really like the perspective on the shot, which does almost make you feel as if you are looking at you and the horse from underground. The other thing is that yep it is perfectly centred which I kind thought would have been a pre-requisite for a centred challenge but having seen some of the images that 'beat' you obviously wasnt

On the colouring, I'd just say that one person's washed out is another persons gentle pastels and I thought it worked well for the image

Wow, minimalism and complexity combined to wonderful effect. I love both the natural luminescence of this image and the deep tonal richness of the pot.

Sadly, the other thing that impresses me is how you get to take such great images and still have time to have a dust free table!

Well I dont think your challenge entry was 'boring' but I do have to say that this one was way better. Shots like this have me scratching my head in awe and bafflement as to how they get captured. It is simply incredible, and the beautiful reds and yellows on the body add yet another wonderful dimension

Sigh, I guess next time I am compaining about my score I should look at this image and I will realise that great photos dont always get the score that they deserve. This to me is at least a 6. I love the sharpness of the leaf and the way it seems almost magically suspended on the spiders web. Love the imposition of the brown on the green as well
