Daisy Headby AliciaComment: Wow very strong portrait especially given that you took it on the hoof rather than at a studio. A top 100 position in a free study with a baby shot really does illustrate how good this image is
A picture that if you had your own studio could hang in the window and would be a great advertisment to passers by about how skilled you really are
marvellous |

In the Bayby KarenNfldComment: Holy cow!!!!!!
I love the fact that you speak blithely of the first iceberg of the season, for us Brits something like this is an absolutely incredible site
Magnificent sharpness and such a powerfully white without being nlown out at all. The richness of the blue of the ocean and the burst of red on the house really bring out the main subject
Fantastic image |

On the Edgeby KarenNfldComment: Simply breathtaking Karen and very well derving of the 7th place
I love the contrast between the sharpness of the shot and the dreaminess that sepia can give
There is a sense of tranquility and timelessness about this image, it is as if the whole world has stopped and this is the only thing that remains
I love it |

01by CharleneComment: Great Great Great job on the blur. You have used it just enough to give the shot an air of dreaminess (like a childhood memory) but not overcooked it so that you lose the detail of your daughters face
Such a cool shot |

08 Daddy's Boyby SandyPComment: Simply wonderful. The moment of intimacy between father and son, the love in the fathers face and the fact that even though you cannot see the childs face you know he is laughing. I love the light playing on the blond hair as well.
A treasured moment and one that captures the sheer unabashed joy of parenthood
You rock big style |

Weathered Windowby bassboneComment: Really nice texture shot, i Love the way that you avoided going for square window, square crop. The rectangularisation (this cant be a real word but it will do) of the image actually draws you into the window more
Very nice |

The Road to the Olympic Gamesby bassboneComment: Great job on the framing of the runners in this shot Peter, I always find it really hard with shots like this not to get an extraneous arm or leg somewhere. Very nice composition which defines the athleticism, concentration and hurt of marathn running (I did it once and NEVER again) |

SOLOby colorcarnivalComment: yaaay great finish for a free study. Beautiful colouring and vignetting that draws you right into the heart of the shot. Love the dof you used here |

The Last Tigerby colorcarnivalComment: Great story and a wonderful picture. The tiger reminds me of Hobbes from the Calvin and Hobbes cartoons (when adults are around)
Cant understand why this did not score higher. I love the light play along the body and the leading diagonal you created with the tiger
Nice shot |
