I like the composition of this shot, and the way that the lighthouse stands out very well against that foreboding sky. I wonder, though if the top half of the image (the white band in the sky and up) is really adding anything to the photo.

The lighting appears to be a little flat and some detail has been lost in the forehead area. Still, this image has a slightly disturbing (and compelling) element to it that I can't quite explain. It might have to do with the very direct stare and the paint running down the neck. . .

He's a cute little guy! The lighting seems a little flat, rendering the colors slightly dull. Still, this is a nice composition with a lot of detail.

Very serene image. I like the two ducks, and the concentric circles moving away from them. Most of the lines in the image manage to draw the eye right to them as well. All I could ask for is a little more detail in the shadows.

Purple challenge, Take 2! :) I like the composition of this one, and the purple cloth seems to bring out the same color in the one eye that we can see. There is even a pretty good amount of detail in the reflection in her eye that I like. In fact, the only thing I would change here is the size. Free Studies allow up to 720px width.

Lightning on the Mountain

Cool! This is very dramatic! I like that you can see what appears to be the leading edge of this storm rolling in, and the bolts up high are just an added bonus to the main bolt reaching down to the ground. Great capture!
