Beautiful sunset! The people on the beach work well to give some perspective and a sense of size to this image, but I find myself leaning in toward the monitor to see if I can figure out what they're doing. Thus, I wonder if maybe they are detracting from the overall image.

Awesome clarity and wonderful use of DOF, but the lighter area of background on the left is distracting.

Well lit, nice form, beautiful girl, scary looking jump. . . I think I would have liked this more in color. (I feel like I've seen this somewhere before, as well, but I can't place it. . . )

With the person in the frame, this feels like a vacation snapshot. I think that with a lower perspective (angled up a bit) and without the person, that this could have been a much better image of the falls.

I'm not sure how the title relates, but I generally just vote on the image itself. . .

Great processing here. She's a beautiful little girl, but this image somehow conveys a sense of loss or possibly even suffering. . . I'm not really sure what to think here, and I wonder if maybe that's the point.

Either way, you managed to get me to stop for a while and think as I try to make my way through (and comment on) almost 500 images. That says something in itself. Well done!

This feels more like a snapshot to me. With a few adjustments to curves and saturation (specifically in the red), I think that this image could have really shone.

Great image! I like the isolation of the main subject from the rest of the herd as well as the processing that you have applied. (Very subtle)

Makes me wish I was there. The amount of detail in this shot is amazing, and the exposure for both sky and ground is perfect. The bottom 1/4 of the image is a little lacking in interest, however.

Wow! Love it! How did you get them both to pose in such perfect spots?

Seriously, the obvious motion of the deer in the background gives a sense of motion to the duck in the foreground, making the entire image very dynamic and a bit surreal. Very well done!

Shirt wins!

I might have tilted the image CCW a bit to straighten out the wall on the left, but good use of DOF to isolate the subject. (Pretty girl, BTW!)
