Looking up to Versaceby edmengComment: An elegant image - not sure if it is Street Photography or posed, but that doesn't matter really. Lovely contrasts. |

Someday, When i grow upby sauravsahaComment: Very cute - the duotone conversion works well too. The broad frame is really effective ... hmmm may steal this for my next submission ;-) |

Next Time.......by arpanrayComment: Lovely clarity and the frame is different but actually I am thinking it works really well for this image. Great contrasts. |

Summer Shadowsby dzone1Comment: There is a lot of pixelation happening in this image - I think perhaps it is exaggerated by the busy-ness of the leaves/foliage/grass. The shadows have become a very small part of this composition, and if I did not know the challenge topic, I might not have noticed them at all. Yes - there are definitely shadows, but in terms of fulfilling a topic, voters might feel that your image doesn't "scream" shadows - in other words, a bit subtle. It is a lovely composition and I like the way the main tree fills the bottom left quadrant. |

Sunset Tressesby tangueraComment: An interesting, abstract image...of course I would love to have seen what this looks like converted to black and white and with greater contrast...hmmm? |

After The Stormby autumnflower2001Comment: What an amazing tree and shadow!! The framing of the window is distracting... Of course I would have loved a front-on view to increase simplicity. I wonder however, having used this same image, and you had cropped the window frame ruthlessly out, so that your tree was not centered, and almost heading for an abstract...what it would have looked like? |

still lifeby tnunComment: looking like a snow elephant~! Not sure that "Shadows" jump out at me in this though. Some lovely minimalist lines - great simplicity: I wonder how this would have turned out had it been converted to black and white and had the balances of brightness/contrast stretched...? |

Shadow Treesby ucanoeComment: Beautiful setting with great shadows. I think your image might have been enhanced with a stretching of the brightness/contrast toggle and perhaps a little hue saturation..? |

watch itby cutoutComment: Disarmingly weird and engaging. This has a great quality and viewing value to it. I think that Posthumous will love this and may award you a ribbon... having said that, I DO hope the voters appreciate this too ;-) 10 |
