Great shot. It looks almost HDR like though? It's funny, such a dominating structure in the background is completely dwarfed by the emotion coming out of the figure in the foreground. I wonder how more powerful this shot could have been if you lost the backpack, and had the person lie on the bench with their feet towards the lens? Maybe a newspaper of their body? I really like this shot! Best so far in the challenge shots I've looked at and voted on :-)

Simply beautiful! Love the shadow falling away from the eyes! Amazing. Maybe a small comment, it looks like the whites of the eyes have been processed a bit too much. Personal opinion, but I like a bit of 'life' left in the whites of the eyes.....Great shot.

I don't get it......why would someone vote 1 or 2 on this image? Surely, 1 or 2 should be reserved for gross image technical errors, not personal opinion as to the subject matter. I'd be interested in why peopls scored this so low. If I were voting at the time, I'd give it 7, 8 if you're head was not cropped out.

Lovely simplistic shot. The inclusion of the land mass makes this shot stand out. Bet you're glad you didn't have any sensor dust on this shot :-) A deep blue sky may have improved this shot?
