Upstairsby tfarrell23Comment: oh hell yes. the wide angle gives this an unsettling distortion, but the processing completely removes that. it's got a dream-like quality to it that makes the distortion seem almost normal. well...normal for a dream that is. My dreams, anyway. Especially lately. Last night for instance I had this crazy one where I...oh. sorry. went on a tangent there. Anyway, yeah. I love this.

Into my dad's shoesby sekarmalathyComment: oh Dave Hill I thank you for bringing this style to the mainstream. the high-pass sharpen made some crazy halos on the right side and by the rear axle - actually not even sure anymore if you could fix that in the DPC ruleset. Either way I don't care because the overall effect is awesome. Print it and frame it :)

Baby Bootiesby KelliComment: kind of cartoon-like and looking very processed...but for some reason i like it :) |

Basketball Balletby colorcarnivalComment: oh so brave with selective desaturation AND motion blur all in one photo on DPC. Maybe I've been away too long and voters accept this sort of thing now ;)
I love the idea - the border is a bit overwhelming and I'd like to see the crop either more centred or more more off-centred. As it is it seems to me that the crop is a bit uncertain.
either way I applaud the departure from the ordinary and I enjoy the image for what it is. |

School Yard Prank - Shoes over the wiresby JCrest01Comment: hate to be redundant, but i'm guessing you'll get lots of comments on the border. I'm not necessarily opposed to that style in the right circumstance - in this case it just seems to compete with the natural flow that the wire and the laces provide. The concept is fun and the detail is good - absolutely love the mottled sky and cloud in the background. should be an above average score |

No mom ... I have not seen your shoes ...by TyraComment: great shoes. not as big a fan of the colossal over-exposure slash high-key approach in this case. I do like it from time to time, but in this case it eliminates all environmental context which makes me wonder what you're hiding. Just a personal preference - doesn't mean i'm right or anything :)

Shoo!by myceliumComment: if you don't count the concept, the composition, the unique square crop, the exposure, the muted tones, the sharpness, the post processing, and even the ridiculously perfect title, there's absolutely nothing i like about this.
my favourite so far.
