Gets tricky in the dark

A bit too much light fall-off in this one - looks like was lit by a single flash and it's thrown the background into darkness.

Appreciate for an action shot you need a quick shutter so can't use a long exposure to get some ambient, but in that case it may have been better to re-frame so that there wasn't so much featureless darkness in the background.

I grew up in Levin. I'd have called Oxford St the main street, but whatever. Yeah this photo conveys the boring boringness of it all. The dog's a nice touch.
