nice photo, decently composed. the colours are interesting - it gives the photo a cold cast (which could just be my monitor judging from some of the recent threads). This subject was a little overplayed this week, unfortunately, which will probably bring your score down some as people get bored with looking at hunched over people. Hope your photo was closer to the top of the voting page.

I had to vote this down as I was unable to come up with any clue as to what I was looking at. A large black blob on a rust coloured background. Some mystery lighter coloured trapezoid nearish to the centre. And a thick, unattractive lilac border that doesn't really add anything at all.

Maybe I'm missing the whole point and this is a very creative take on despair - a photograph from the school of Impressionism. Maybe I was supposed to despair at knowing what this was?

nice closeup of the cat. Was unsharp mask run across this photo? The black subject on darker background makes it a touch difficult to see the fine fine details (ie. the whiskers).

crisp, clear shot. I like this quite a bit. Maybe I'm just a sucker for a macro shot? :) The glare off the cellophane is a bit distracting but I doubt it could have helped - not if I had been doing it, that's for sure.
