In Shining Armorby inspzilComment: I like the diagonal display, and the color that you've brought into play has a good quality to it. The "star" filter effect is also nicely done. The harsh light on the top left corner on the Pawn and Rook is a bit distracting however, and I would like to perhaps have seen the whole board in focus if possible. The lighting/reflection below your King is also a bit annoying, draws attention away from the pieces on the board. Excellent idea and very creative. . . |

Missing Sunsetby crabappl3Comment: Oh, come on now, you couldn't have waited for the sun to set? You've got everything in here, and even though it looks cluttered, everything seems to fit. The black and white game board, the blue vase, the glass bear, the lovely polished box, the polished table, the beauty of that little girl with her smiling eyes looking out at you. Is that a blue ribbon on top of her hair? The only distracting thing is the photograph on the left wall. I think I would have taken it down for this picture.

baby's joyby tremeComment: What beautiful expressive eyes. A look of shear delight on her face warms my heart. You've taken a good photograph, but the checkered background interferes with your prime subject which is the baby's eyes and grin, but my eyes wander to the checkered background. Perhaps a neuteral background would have been better. Clarity is good, different shades of pink is clear and sharp, and those brown eyes are so beautiful. Very good photograph. |

This is fun!by jenaromComment: Lovely candid shot. Such a beautiful little smile. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you've used just the natural lighting here? The colors of the sweater are really vibrant and alive and the two blue's of the swing seat and plastic wiring are great. I like the way the little earrings show up in her ears, you've captured a lot of detail, and that smile is worth a million words. You've done a good job using the rule of 3rds by not having her smack in the middle of the photo, too. |

Splashby ChaszmyrComment: Both the lighting and the color chosen for this photograph is very thoughtful. You've done a good job of capturing the "drop" and the rippling effect of the water. |

Stagesby rcrawfordComment: Very fascinating photograph. The lighting is nicely done, showing buds starting to open up, the one flower in the background just starting to bloom and of course the one in centre stage in full bloom showing it's full beauty for all to see and admire. My eyes focus on the front flower, wander to the upper one, then on to the closed buds and return to the front flower again. Nicely job. |

Kermitby mjcecilComment: nice photo. you've captured Kermit nicely. The lighting is right on, focusing makes the cat stand right out. The coloring is so cool. He seems so relaxed as he looks into the lens of the camera. Nice job |

Morning has brokenby vcosmaComment: nice clouds and colorful sky here, but perhaps you should show a bit more horizon. The sky looks like it's on fire, and the photo is sharp and in focus, but there should be more to it for me to look at. |

...A Few Dollars Moreby tfarrell23Comment: this just doesn't seem to match the description of the contest.
The color of the bowl is nice as is the floor/counter, however. . . |

A Baby Boy and His Dog (who ate the flower!)by jimmspComment: nice photo. both the baby and the dog have my attention; the photo is in sharp focus, and the colors are pleasing to the eye. I like the way you have the dog looking directly into your camera. Perhaps you could have used your cropping a little better and left the babies hand and foot in the picture, but otherwise, nice job. |
