Impressive landscapes. I find the middle photo's brightness compared to the other two a bit overpowering.

Good connection, I would have liked a bit more sharpness and vividity to the shots for a great score.

Super shot. The combination of colours and negative space are quite interesting and engaging.

Nice shot, postcard-like quality to it, I think.

This is a great shot with good thumbnail appeal. I think with a bit more sharpness (contrast?) it would have scored up in the sixes.

This is a really good shot IMO. I think the only reason that you didn't finish higher up the tree is because of what your first comment mentioned - you look at the shot and you can think a lot of things, but not many of those thoughts are "hair" related. Would have been interesting to see how this did in the free study.

Yeah I think the multiple-exposure HDR is a tricky thing to get right. The slightest variation in camera position or wind-driven movement of the subject will end up knocking out the image in a slight way. I've had a few shots that I thought would be good end up messed up by that.

Having said that I don't think that this was a disaster by any stretch. I think, had the perspective been right, I'd have been tempted to have the bird up front right, for some foreground interest.

This is so detailed and colourful I'm surprised it did not get ranked more highly. Still who can account for the dpc voters?

A great symettrical piece here. Good use of the reflections, and very clever setup!
