The Shared Umbrella by MelethiaComment: Nice one getting another ribbon for your collection and your first 7+ score. :D
Personally, I think that the black and white version is superior to the colour. The B&W gives it an old fashioned feel, I think, that works well with the scenery and clothing. :) |

Smooth dropletby katOsuComment: This shot is amazing and really sticks it to people who say you can't get a good shot with the Canon kit lens. :) |

Night Time Strollby jaysonmcComment: Okay, so you asked to concentrate on what is wrong. Fairly subjective really. I didn't vote but it would have been a 5 or 6. The lilac tone on the "eye" is good. However it's somewhat lacking in clarity and dynamics I think. The angle on the pods is a bit unflatering, for want of a better word. I wonder if a slower shutter would have made for a more interesting shot - though probably you would run the risk of people here calling it cliche. I'm also not sure if the big tree bottom right doesn't spoil the shot a bit. It's quite domineering and for me breaks the view of the other side of the river. |

Trescott Street Pierby bmartuchComment: One of those odd shots where there is not too much to comment about. Surprised it didn't pick up a slightly higher score really. Would have been fine for the symmetry challenge I expect or the vanishing point. You could even do a re-shoot in a moody night sky. |

They grow up so fastby MelethiaComment: Ducks in a line is a great shot and would do well by itself I think. Does the original have any more space around it (to the left?) |
