Crow Tree Hillby jaysonmcComment: A good sky and a good idea for the challenge, but I think it scored lower than it should have because the contrast with the birds is not as high as it might be. If they stood out more it would be a winner. |

Nap Time - Great Blue Heronby JuliBocComment: The pose here is certainly different to the usual, so you're going for out of the box territory, but it's difficult for my eyes to find a resting point on the image, because I'm expecting to see a different angle of the bird. |

Great shot, really active. The motion blur adds to the photo. I think perhaps a bit under-rated. To top it off something really different in the frame would have provided contrast and a focal point. |
