Nice and simple for the challenge. The composition is good although I'd like to see a little color in that flame.

You have some graininess here that needs either worked out in PS or Neat Image. There is also two spots near the top that need retouched.

The focus here is good and you have nice detail in the candle. Lighting seems ok as there is no amount of glare on the candle.

You have a nice first entry here hope to see more from you in the future.

Very nice take on the challenge. Endangered spiecies definately portray delicate although I'm sure others just looked at it as a stuffed animal.

I do like your backdrop very nice. Compliments the animal nicely.

I have to question your textured foreground just seems distracting in this case.

You could use just a little more lighting at the top its slightly shadowed across the top of the photo.

I do like this and think you did a good job here.

You have captured the bird nicely in flight, it does though seem to be slightly out of focus. The problem I'm seeing here is a lot of grain or pixels in the sky there is also some grain on the birds breast.

The grain I'm seeing I'm not sure if it is from being cropped then enlarged or a lighting issue, although I'm thinking it has happened because you enlarged things.

Other than all the grain I am seeing the photo has a nice composition and it fits the challenge well.

I had a little trouble with the website as I was posting so I wanted to add this to the first post...

Also her bracelet seems distracting it needed to go. My eyes aren't pulled to her hands craddling the unborn child but rather to the bobbles on her wrist.

What I do like is how you have captured a mother to be and her love for her unborn child this pose works extremely well.

I love this composition. A very nice refreshing look at delicate. The pose is beautiful. I do question your title I realize it is her name but you might have scored higher if those who didn't understand the realationship to delicate by titling it In a Delicate Way. I can't tell you how many romance and western novals refer to pregnancy in that manner.

I don't light how the lighting is creating shadows they are distracting and do nothing for an otherwise beautiful portrait.

Overall I have to say thank you for such a beautiful and delicate photo. I personally like it.

This works for the delicate challenge.

Your lighting doesn't seem to bad considering you were using natural lighting the shadows look about right.

Your placement of the flower doesn't do any good. It needs to be out of the center and off to the side. I would crop in from the right side and a little off the top as well. Get rid of that green plant distraction.

You have a few hot pixels on the flower that need to be retouched as well. A simple repair would fix a lot with this photo.

Very nice capture. Good detail.

I tend to agree with comments made during the challenge your crop is to tight on the left side. I'm wondering what would have happened if you had cropped it to only have the top two birds in flight.

Your sky looks good with the exception of the graininess.

I like this and applaud you for such a well focused photo of birds in flight and yes I do believe this fit the challenge and deserved to do better, especially when the only real issue with the composition is a little to tight of a crop.

Nice composition going on here. I like to see things in the natural habitat and you have that right here.

Your dof obviously is perfect as the dandilion is in sharp clear focus while the grase is blurred.

You do have a slight overexposure to the top of the dandilion, but it is very minimal.

This fits the challenge. As we all know it would be gone with a slight breeze so delicate it is. This really is a good image. Well done.

I question your lighting, you have shadows going in several directions and that just becomes distracting. Your lighting also seems to be an issue with the background you have a grayish tone going on with the white.

This is very simplicitic and I question your placement in the center of the photo it tends to leave it boring.

Now as for what I like about this I like the simple unclutter photo. Your concept is good and you definately have met the challenge.

Beautiful! Such a fitting photo for a delicate challenge.

You've captured this butterfly beautifully the colors are outstanding. Your use of negative space works well with this and the limited dof works wonderfully here.

You have a strong photo the only thing I don't like is your choice of backgrounds. You should have attempted to move the butterfly off the pavement and used either a floral background or a plain on.

Anyhow it's a very beautiful butterfly.
