Self portrait in purpleby mollyblackComment: I'm all for experimenting, but this photo seems to be submitted solely for shock value. For a portrait it seems a bit too soft. Perhaps if the same subject was used but under dufferent lighting and perspective this may have worked better. |

so long, sweet summerby AlisonheartsuComment: Since describing a color as "purple" is very subjective I'm not effected by the plant appearing more magenta. I really like the the subject matter here. The strange textures are very appealing. I also like the DOF which makes it appear as if you're peering through some bushes. |

Sour Grapeby davidus428Comment: I really like the idea for this image and the the way you have composed it. Subjectively speaking, I think there may be a tad too much contrast. As a consequence the vine on top of the grape seems to be a little unrealistic. |

Purply...by P_NutComment: Nice image. The only thing I may have suggested would have been to set your background color to white. But thats just a personal preference. |

Complimentary Colorsby saphireComment: In additon to the nice lighting and pretty model I like the subtle use of purple used here. There seems to be some noise artifacts due to over sharpening. More apparent on the cheek and neck. Other than that nice image. |

impressionby margiemuComment: This is a very pretty image. I like how the flower in the background seems to be open while the flower in the foreground is closed. The only thing I would personally like to see would be a larger aperature for a bit more focus on the closed flower. |
