We hold a candle...

A beautiful piece of still-life, but is it glass?

I guess it must be, or you wouldn't have enetered it. But there's not many "glassy" things going on.

Great idea, well executed.

The only thing I would have tried would be cropping more tightly. I'm not sure that we need to see the whole of that 478 thing (whatever it is) in the background, when it is so well represented through the lenses and their reflections - maybe just enough of it to provide some context to what we are seeing through the lenses.

This is a nice, powerful shot.

I might have experimented with making it a bit less symmetrical - maybe making it 1 1/2 or 1 2/3 tiles wide, rather than 2. But perhaps you tried that, and it didn't work so well.

The rain on the glass doesn't quite come off though - I spent a while wondering if it was rain, or just dirt. I think using water on the glass is a powerful addition to the composition, but maybe make it a bit bigger and more obvious somehow.

This is stunning. Striking use of strong red, yellow and green, and a real sense of something fascinating lurking in the reflection.

It's a shame there's no way of eliminating the photographer's reflection from a shot like this (at least, not without breaking the basic-editing rules, that I know of). But it isn't intrusive.

But, unless my monitor is set up incorrectly, it's not quite spherical...

I think the idea and technical execution of this shot are both great. The framing is spot on, monochrome was the right choice, and the set-piece use of the mirror was great.

But someone forgot to tell the woman about the "passion" bit. It looks like she is much more concerned with the camera than with the guy.

I can feel the heat coming off this photo! The reds and yellows are quite evocative. The moltenness of the blob is nicely conveyed by the way it is slightly flattened at the bottom, too.

There's just a hint of something in the background over on the right hand side, in what looks like is trying to be a black background. This is a little distracting, but it's very faint.

A great shot - well framed, exposed, etc.

I love the blues and yellows of the blowtorch flames, and the reflections on the glass. And the whole orange ambience of the shot creates a sense of a hot, stuffy, industrial kind of scene. The understated presence of the tools over on the right hand side enhance this feeling.

I can't help wondering, though, if the finished product is intended to contain a liquid... :-)

Dunny? Must be an Aussie!

I love the way the flowers behind the glass seem to align so well with the patterns within the glass - that's a neat trick.

It's a shame that the shot is slightly looking down on the window, though; making the glass look not quite rectangular.

Comment:
This is quite absorbing. The simplicity of the two colours contrasts with the complexity and randomness of the shards of glass.

But it does leave me feeling puzzled and a little dissatisfied. I can't quite grasp the theme of purpose of the shot. It feel to me more like a technically excellent composition in search of a message. But that's just my gut reaction, it may work for others...

Comment:
All the detail here is very clear and crisp - focus, contrast, everything is spot-on.

But there's just too much happening for my taste. If there was one central feature that stood out, which the others complemented and led your eye towards, then it would be great. But as it stands, they're all competing with one another.
