I was reading the Zen thread and saw this picture in the very first post; it is an amazing and perfect example of Zen photography. This picture is so calming and naturally beautiful. I'm very new to photography, so I hope you don't mind me asking, but how was the absolute clear white background without shadows achieved here? Again, lovely photograph.

the figure here in this photograph is what pushes it from a hgih score right up to a 10 IMO; it introduces and presents that sense of perspective inbetween this beautiful setting. Good job.

What a beautiful shot. There's something mysterious aboutt he serenity and natural beauty of the rocks here in the foreground and then the incoming, modern bridge further back. Works great to produce a lovely shot.

I really like this picture, perhaps the only qualm I would mayeb have it is that the sky is a little washed-out and too bright, but the foreground and subjects of this photograph more than make up for it IMO. Good job.

this is beautiful! i guess golden sunsets can be a bit cliched sometimes, but this is amazing, and the silhouettes of the birds really add that little extra something to it. i'm surprised how empty the beach is as well. i really like this.
