Ripple.jpgby renegade1966Comment: I've never attempted a water droplet shot and don't have a good handle on the tech side.
I really like the detail on the center of the drop, and the softness and movement in the water. It doesn't have the hard frozen feeling a lot of watere drop photos do.
My eye is drawn to the small droplets and bubbles in the upper right corner. I think they could be cloned out to bring attention back to the drop itself. Also it might be cropped a little tight at the top.

columbineby BlueZamiaComment: Thany you, This was my fairwell outing with my automatic exposure toy camera (Pentax Optima 33L). Was going for bokeh, but it fook 3 overlay layers to hide the fact that the focus is off. I forgot this is a basic challenge.
The Konica Minolta DiMage Z6 shows up tomorrow.
I will no longer be able to blame the almost good photos on technology. Eventually I'll learn to take photos. Message edited by author 2006-06-20 17:59:07. |
