great take on the original, I love the action of the water droplets and the nice clean background, the only thing is I wish there were more light on the flower, nice sharp focus, I love that I can almost feel how silky the petals are, great job overall

much better! great lighting, I like the b&w, the only thing I think could help is if you had a pretty garbage can (I know, I know) but maybe if you would've had one of those wire-basket cans or something... but technically, very good photo, nice sharp focus and good composition and crop

nice, very clean background and great lighting, I think that this could be better with more negative space to either side - maybe have the line of dice going down your "rule of thirds" line, the only other thing would be a deeper dof, great job overall

much better than the original, I'm concerned if this is actually your ceiling. I think you did a great job considering the subject matter you were working with. I think the only thing I would like is for the lighting to be a little more even, not too much though because I like how it goes from bright to dark from the corner
