I wanted to say thanks for the comment on my bubble picture by finding one of my favorite photos of yours. I really love this one - it reminds me of a delicate charcoal drawing. I also think it has perfect composition within the frame.

Congrats on the shot - though I like the crop/composition of your July 2006 shot better, you have definitely improved as far as technical skill. Keep it up : )

nice photo, the only thing I'd point out is that it seems like your camera focused on the leaf to the left side instead of the bud coming out of the water. I love the DOF and the composition - aside from the basic editing rules, you might play around with selective blurring or dodging and burning and different coloring techniques. very nice first entry

man, I love the warning label... can I steal IT and start putting it all over my photos too? haha, also, I can't get enough of those eyes and perfect eyebrows, great shadowing on the face... still not sure of the arm, but I guess there's not much of any other way it would've still looked this good

I think the lighting is fine... all I'd like is a sharper focus and maybe some of the face showing.

nice job on the black BG, you could try having more bed and more negative space so that you could use the "rule of thirds" to place the subject

overall, pretty good for your first nude shot
