The Ultimate Successby LoreneComment: Yes, except if you're a teenage boy or an executive with Durex, then the triumph will be one line ;) Nice composition. |

"...call me."by BHusemanComment: It's only a triumph if she actually answers (or remembers you) when you do call. ;) Good one |

8 Seconds of Triumphby DirtypainterComment: Whooaaa! I get chills just watching that. Nice action shot. Expresses the theme well. I would've cropped a little tighter to get rid of the white sky and perhaps B&W would serve this shot seeing as the neon's are a bit distracting. My rule of thumb is usually that if the colour doesn't add to the theme of the picture, I make it B&W since it's less distracting and helps focus attention on the theme - personal preferance. Good luck. |

life cycleby shaundpComment: Ho funny is that. I like the concentration on his face. He looks like an experienced knight in the jousting event. Fits the challenge well and I like it. Focus seems a tad soft. |

Through the last gateby NobodyComment: To me this expresses a sense of determination. Pretty good in keeping with the theme of triumph. Technically I think the image quality could be better. The focus seems just a tad soft and the sharpening a little over done judging by the black lines around the white areas (the pole in the forground and around the helmet). Nice composition overall. |

To the victor goes the spoilsby ScapeshotsComment: Technically fine. Good composition, sharp detail, tonal range and all of it. I understand the idea behind the shot and personally it doesn't really express the fullness of theme of triumph to me which I interpret as being emotionally charged. I experience the picture as unemotional. Good shot none the less. 7 and good luck. |

The Final Setby jblaylockraynerComment: Not bad. Not WOW either. The net in the foreground doesn't really serve any purpose in my opinion as it doesn't add or strengten the composition, but rather distracts. I find there's too much unnecessary elements in the picture (the trees, the fence, the white sky, the net) that doesn't really help focus one's attention on the theme of triumph. I would try filling most of the frame with the subject so his expression and sense of triumph is large and in your face. The whole thing looks a little too staged. Hope that helps and good luck for future challenges. |

Iraq - Asian Soccer Champsby zerocusaComment: Very cool composition. Expresses the theme very well. I like the leading lines created by the fence and the fact that it creates a nice seperation between the main subject and the cheering crowd and the DOF is spot on. Very well done. 10 |
