Beautiful! A 9 from me. I wonder how this would've looked if you cropped out the sky and the horizon completely and have just the silhouetted bird against the background of water. I think that would simplify the the composition even more and in simplicity there is beauty. Not that there's anything wrong with the composition as it is. It's wonderful.

I can't figure out what's happening here. Why is it a disater? I see a crane of some sorts and I see smoke and a blue sky and some tree tops. I don't see how it relates to sunrise or sunset.

I think it would've been better without the pole in the foreground. My attention is split between the pole and the sunset so it distracts from the sunset and almost feels like it's blocking my view. Also the fact that it was fill-flashed from straight on camera, makes it look almost like it was pasted in.

The picture is a bit dark and I'm not too fond of the green tint - makes me think of sewerage water. It also looks more like glare from the water (makes me want to put on my polarized sunglasses) than it looks like a sunset or sunrise.

That's a nice sky, but to me it doesn't seem like the sky is spectacular enough to be the subject of the picture and subsequently it feels like it's a nice backdrop without a subject. Now if for instance there were tiny silouettes of people on the hill that would improve the picture considerably. Hope that helps.
