This could have used a little more attention in editing. There are significant chunks of hair which are desaturated that draw the eye.

Yeah - I think I tried to throw too much into the photo to tie it all together. The "sculpture"/"cookie" is almost a little more disturbing than that. It was on the cake at my mother's babyshower for me (i.e. when she found out she was pregnant with me). It's a very large piece of 30-year old frosting. Not edible - I tried when I was a kid.

The comment about the test on the counter is accurate. It probably would have been better/more recognizable had I just shot it sitting on the bathroom counter, in its own element, as it were.
