Oneby loveComment: The red sky is a bit much for me in this shot. I know it's when the sun is going down/up, but it's just a little too pervasive. |

Lighting of the Treeby camphanComment: I'm not sure the the train cars and passing lights add to this shot. Maybe without those it would be stronger and more focused. There's just a little too much going on here. |

Midnight Moonlight on Willow Pondby jenesisComment: A very dreamy shot. I can't tell if it's post processing that gives it that quality, or just a long exposure and a little breeze. Either way it's really pretty. |

Connell National Forestby lkn4truthComment: This feels underexposed. I don't mind a dark feel to it, but this is hard to make out what's happening in the background. I can see the one tree-twig there, but I'm curious about the ground around it. Are those baby trees, burned out stumps? Knowing that would change the meaning of the sign for me, and really change the feel of the photo depending on which it is. |

Bonsai !!!by ShutterPugComment: I don't feel that the tree is the subject. I think it meets the challenge pretty well but with the bright reflection of the moon pointing the eye toward the little fisherman guy, I feel that he's more the subject... |
