While I get the pun, and I am usually pretty lenient with challenge descriptions, I don't feel this qualifies as a portrait. Other than that, its a nice photo. I'm sure it would have done much better in another challenge.

Nice capture and composition. The white highlights on his shirt are blown out some and there is a speck of white under his nostral that makes me want to get a tissue for him. A little spot editing would take care of that.

A little work on the eyes would raise this up a notch. You can use the ellipse selection tool to select just the irises and pupils, then play with color adjustments and add sharpness, to let the windows to your soul shine. :)
You bet it's a candid... have you ever tried to pose a 2 year old and a 9 month old?

Nice smiles. :) I have 3 children, so I know what its like. The little girls ruffle on the bottom of her outfit is a little distracting, as is the blue and brown stripes against the green floral print of their outfits. Otherwise, nice job.

While the artwork is kinda cool, and your photo is probably okay by current DPC advanced editing rules, it feels like your stealing that person's art and passing it off as your own. I don't know what to say about the quality of your photo, because what makes it cool is mostly what the graffiti artist did. Since the graffiti is probably part of a larger work, I guess I can say nice choice of composition, and interesting subject.

good color. His chrome doom is a bit too shiny; cropping the top off about 10 to 30 pixels above his upper most forehead wrinkle (on his left side) would enhance your photo quite a lot.

She doesn't look very shy. :) I can almost see her exclaiming "Mom!"

I think this has potential. The background is a bit distracting. And the colors could be more vibrant. The composition is great. Face could be a hair more sharp. Overall it has nice appeal.

aliqui: Thanks for the suggestion; I haven't played with it, but I know that this would have been far far better if I could have used advanced editing. Also, I forgot to set my white balance correctly on my camera so the quality is diminished some because of the tweaking I had to do to correct it.
