Sand, Water and Shellsby lazyislandkatComment: Overall, a very nice picture. The composition is great; the diagonal makes the shot much more interesting than if the water was parallel with an edge. To improve it (in my eyes): I think a couple of the shells on the beach may be a little blown out... Maybe a little dodging is in order? I would also see if you can sharpen the image up a touch, it looks a little soft to me. |

On Dasher! On Dancer!.jpgby MTPixelsComment: Abstracts are always hard to comment on because, by design, there has to be so much personal interpretation. I really like the sky, skyline, and warm light near the bottom. I find the rather harsh lines of headlights/taillights a little distracting from the soft, smooth transitions behind. As such, I wish there was a little less of the harshness of the foreground and more of the serene feel of the back. |

From Green to Redby s4nd3r99Comment: I'm not sure the centered subject is doing your photo justice here. I like the idea and setup, but think you maybe could have cropped off a little more of the right side. |

Stop and Goby dw_photoComment: Great setup - I just wish there wasn't the heavy black line between the golf balls keeping the colors from working as well together as they could have. Really nicely lit and framed. |

A Fresh New Rain by jdannelsComment: To me, this is a nice, different take on the challenge and a good photo, as well. It does look like there's some halo effect around the subject, maybe from oversharpening a little? Other than that, very good. |

New Leavesby RebeccaComment: The right-most leaf looks oversharpened to me. Color are great. |

In Bloomby MaxheadrooMComment: In my opinion, the DOF is too shallow here. It's so nice and sharp at the end of the bud, only to trail off very suddenly 2/3 of the way down. Would have liked a little mor of the bud in focus. Other than that, very nice compostion and color. |

white sorrowsby crayonComment: The backgroud flowers are distracting from the subject by seemingly growing directly out of it. In my opinion, this could be stronger shot at a different angle. |

New Lifeby magpie5212Comment: Looks very soft to me. Very visible halo around the upper part of the subject. |
