Violadoresby MAKComment: Nice shot. I had to use Google to translate the title. I really like the lighting. I think the shot would have more impact if the shadow hands were much closer to her, preferably touching her arm. As it is, the lighting (and from how her shadow is falling) suggest that he is still a distance away. The fan is a nice touch. |

Dragonfly 2by ephlnComment: I like the colours in this image. It would be better if you had gotten the other side of the dragonfly, but I know winged insects are difficult to photograph, much less in the position you want. |

In the Treesby BakerBugComment: I like how the bright colours of the jet stand out from the less saturated background. |

Eagle River, Alaskaby ShutterPugComment: This is an excellent landscape. I like the many layers from foreground through to background. The red in the snow looks a bit odd, I would maybe desaturate it. |

Hollow Man Playing The Pianoby zaflaboutComment: Great concept. I believe this image would have scored much better with a little refinement. Some more light on the jacket would stop the suit bleeding into the background (at least it does on my monitor), maybe some back-lighting. The whites are a bit dark and could be brightened up with a levels adjustment. I do not like the yellow colour from the lamp you used, I would prefer the white balance set to remove it. I would have cloned out the two bright spots between the hands. The image is a bit too tightly cropped at the top, I would maybe leave some room for the 'head'. |

Enchanted Castle Colorby zaflaboutComment: I prefer this one over the B&W version, the colours in the sky and the water really do make this image. I really like the storm clouds over the castle, they add drama.
A thought, it might be worth shooting the castle again on a day when the water is still. The resulting reflection would then give a double symmetry. But I suppose if the water were calmer you would not likely have the stormy clouds which I think are a very large focus in this image. It would make for a completely different image. |

Despair...by zaflaboutComment: This is a great shot, you have really captured 'despair' well. The fingers digging into the shoulder help to reinforce the rest of the pose. The lighting is excellent, the colder colours at the top of the frame almost 'descending' upon him. The only improvement that I can suggest is to leave more space on the left of the frame to move the subject away from the centre. Cropping more tightly on the right would have him facing into 'emptiness' more, but then that would break up the shadow which would not be so good. |

Liquid Earth Redo.jpgby rasdubComment: Awesome perspective, you've used the distortion of the fisheye to great effect here. The railing (?) seems to close you can almost touch it and the horizon indefinitely far away. |
