Lighting Study 0097by ArcanistComment: i don't understand the point of this image, the vase and the package of napkins don't entirely go together, and it is slightly underexposed, i am not impressed |

squaredby holdingtimeComment: no impact, and no distinguished point of interest, i know the tree in the middle is centered, but all the other trees, which are underexposed, distract from it, and nothing about the center tree draws my eye in |

Piercingby pidgeComment: a little light reflected in the left eye would have been nice |

Ice Cubesby andriComment: okay okay, why don't i like this image? my eye keeps dancing over the entire thing, and i can't rest on the entire image, i think the black on the left, i am assuming some sort of rock formation, is why i don't like it |

On the Rocksby glodaComment: having more depth of field would have saved this image, because you chose such a wide aperature, probably with a macro lense-to get the detail in the icicle, you lost detail in the tongue, and that, to me, is essential |

...and time stood still!by bergwaltersComment: this picture would be mazing with a intense clouds, because you had to slow the shutter speed to blur the water, you lost all detail in the sky, and thus lost this competition, using a grad grey filter or grad polorizer filter could have saved this image, go back some time right after a storm/or right before and look for intensity in the sky, capture both the flowing serenity of the water and the dark intensity of the sky and you have a winning photograph |

On The Edgeby ZoomdakComment: so flat, no contrast, please if you are going to do black and white get some true black and/or white tones not this muddy grey! |
