This was shot late afternoon, this little finch had a great chunk of catch light on him. The background was trees and the blue sky. No strange editing on this bird, this is out of the camera as I am not a photoshop guy.

I would say something like...freighting!
I have come to two conclusions. #1, its a man with your basic mail order do-it yourself plastic surgery kit, or, #2 an old woman with your basic do-it yourself plastic surgery kit.
