Spitting Imageby connieComment: chicago! I didnt know those things could shoot OUT water.. huh..
I love this photo, the b/w really works and it so interesting. It almost looks like the water is wrapping around the structure towards the left, which is obviously not possible, but it makes you really look to try and figure it out. |

Relaxby fotomann_foreverComment: I think I would have liked this shot a lot more if it was from the other direction- from the head down. I feel like Im looking up her nose :( Also, the fact that I cant see her belly button really is bugging me...
Good lighting.
I wish I could see more of the black fabric that is on her arm. |

Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore"by rebs138Comment: Just wanted to add... The photo wasn't supposed to represent a specific superstition, but encompass many superstitions that surround crows/ravens/blackbirds. Most of those superstitions include the bird being a messanger, bringer of bad tidings, etc. So I liked the title for that reason (not to mention Poe is awesome)... Didnt have much choice about the background, Grackie goes where he pleases and this was the best out of about 50 photos. The color version was not good at all, there was a lot of greenish dying grass that just caught your eye before anything else.
Also, the tail is cropped out because its reallllllly long and the composition did not look right when it was included. |

In the Formal Gardenby arminComment: aww, I loved this photo, gave you a 9- you should have done much better :(
The peach color is so inviting, to me. And I just love the composition with the statue barely visible in the background. It feels so familiar, this garden. It's a strange feeling, but I love it... really great photo. Very underrated! |

A Terrible Nothing Sweeps the Landby cools98Comment: Awesome!!!
Just looking through this challenge now and this is my favorite so far. I pratically grew up on the Never-ending story and this photo encompasses that feeling perfectly!! I just wish there was no break through of light over on the right side where its all dark so that the feeling of the "terrible nothing" coming was stronger- but you cant control the clouds.
Great photo, great title! Nice job :) |

It's Raining Bad Luckby carpentsComment: the black against the pink wall is great, but I find the dining room totally distracting. This photo would have been much better with a large expanse of wall behind the subject and maybe just the moulding around the doorway showing- or maybe a small piece of art work somewhere to confirm it was indoors |
