Rusted Windowby moriadelacroixComment: I like the lines and the way I want to keep looking at it to see what it is. Good detail and contrast. Maybe without the black bars top and bottom, though? At first they look like part of the picture but now that I look more closely I think they're added...? |

Mausoleumby moriadelacroixComment: Fascinating subject -- like tph1, I always wondered why people use these. (I did see a funeral once, from a distance, where one was used, and frankly I found it a wee bit creepy.) Nicely captured and treated too -- appropriately dark and somber. |

Week 18 - On Campusby shalrathComment: Very nice candid-portrait look. I love the bokeh and the good focus on the girl's face and hands, and the pose is interesting. If it's posed, maybe just bring her eyes just a touch more forward, but that's just an idea, not a complaint. Great job. |

Day 02 - Fireby shalrathComment: Interesting abstract-ish shot that also tells a story. Oops! :) (I always wondered if that happened with those lanterns.) |

2by maynerd12Comment: A rehearsal for GREASE! :) What fun. Great shot, too! Very sharp and expressive. Did you have them pose, or were they just doing their thing?
(I was rather disillusioned in my one semester of drama my senior year of HS to discover that the yearbook photos I'd always thought were candids from rehearsals -- one lead looking over the other lead's shoulder at the script, group of actors in costume looking at the director who's gesticulating, etc. -- were -- gasp -- POSED.) |

In-The-Field.jpgby jomariComment: Oh, this makes me miss my walker hound. OK, he wasn't MY walker hound, he was a foster dog, but I got... very attached. I like the depth here -- OOF grass, sharp focus on dog, more OOF grass, trees, hills. Nice. I like the color too. |

Day 3 - How Big?!!by taljComment: I think without the tape measure it would have been much less interesting aesthetically. The photo needs something in the middle of the bump to break it up a bit and the tape measure does beautifully. Her hand(s) would probably have done well too. This is beautiful and something your sister can cherish. |
